Episcopalians love
The Wesleyan Church!
OUR HISTORY: The
Wesleyan church’s founder was John Wesley an Anglican priest from the 18th
century who lived and died as an Anglican priest. High church liturgy is in our genes and
you’ll notice that most Wesleyan Church
still serves communion at the altar railing like Anglicans do. While we have a
more American-simple worship than the English Anglican you’ll find that we try
to do our worship “decently and in order” and avoid extravagance and too much exuberance
in our worship. If you are an Episcopalian you’ll love The Wesleyan Church—we’re
exactly who you hope we are!
