Miscellaneous Writing
- Cassius: A Tragic Villain - in this paper I argue that in Shakespeare's play Julius Caesar, Cassius is a hybrid of the character types of villain and tragic hero, thus implying that he (and thus not Brutus, Antony, or Caesar) is the main character of the story [2000]
- Philo and his Sources - an early summary and evaluation of the great Jewish intellectual who is acutely relevant for both Biblical and Patristic studies; beware that the evaluative section is inaccurate and immature [2000]
