IS THIS DATE MISTAKE POSSIBLE? the lineage was
probably kept orally at first. But it is possible the Culmer/Kulmer family history was first recorded in
writing by the series of scribes noted in the line a bit later... it is
possible they reconstructed the first years and missed these dates [or
entered several duplicate generations and inserted several "unknown Culmers" that do not belong in the line, thus
making the dates off by about one generation? In time more clarified
records will appear. the
